Los Angeles Rams Aaron Donald

You read correctly. Aaron Donald is the best defensive player in the NFL without a doubt. Even the oddsmakers can agree with that. Donald still remains the best defensive player according to Vegas as they currently have #99 listed at +750 odds to win the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2020. Since entering the league, Donald has been the most consistent defensive player in the league and we can all admit he is being at least double-teamed on every single snap. After Michael Brockers spilled the truth about the Baltimore Ravens, you can image the dymaic duo is ready for another year of success.

I’ll be honest, last season was not the best for Donald. However, he still finished his 2019 season with 12.5 sacks, 24 QB hits and 20 tackles for loss. The fact that was a down year for Donald shows how consistent and powerful this man is. Donald has made the Pro Bowl each season thus far in his career and will only continue at his consistent dominant rate. This man is on a mission, and will only continue to break records. Speaking of records, let’s check out his career stats thus far with the Rams.

In the last three seasons with the Rams, Donald has 44 sacks, 60 tackles for loss and 92 QB hits. Name another player who has done that much damage thus far. He also leads the league in tackles for loss and a total of 11 forced fumbles. If that wasn’t enough to prove Donald is the best defensive player in the league, let’s check out what Pro Football Focus had to say.

Since entering the league, Donald has the best pass-rush grade of 95.4, best win rate of 22.9% and lastly best pressure rate of 17.1% ALL BEST IN THE NFL. We might as well add being 1st in the league for the double and tripled team rate. Long story short, Donald is already the best in the league and is getting better by the day. At the moment he is crunching out 300 sit-ups at home and more at his at-home workout space.
