Los Angeles Rams updated draft picks following Brandin Cooks trade

Los Angeles Rams Brandin Cooks NFL Draft

It’s official. The Los Angeles Rams have traded WR Brandin Cooks to the Houston Texans in exchange for a second-round pick.  It was a short-lived career with the Rams as the front office thought they got a steal for Cooks before the 2018 NFL Draft. Los Angeles sent New England a first-round pick for the veteran wide receiver.  Even though Los Angeles took a huge hit with the Cooks’ trade, getting a second-round pick for the awful contract they gave Cooks is looking like a steal at the moment. Now, what will the Rams do with the 2nd-round pick? What if they draft an LSU offensive lineman that is one of the best in the draft? Or what about another LSU star that can lineup with running back Darrell Henderson? Let’s take a look at the updated Rams draft picks

Round 2 pick #52 – LA pick

Round 2 pick #57 – Cooks Trade pick

Round 3 pick #84 –  LA pick

Round 3 pick #104 – Compensatory pick

Round 4 pick #126 – LA pick

Round 6 pick #199 – LA pick

Round 7 pick #234 – LA pick

At the moment, the Los Angeles Rams now have a total of seven NFL draft picks with the second and third-round going to be crucial for them. I would imagine the Rams attack the draft with addressing the offensive line and potentially either the running back or wide receiver pick next. Remember, the Los Angeles Rams are already high on a wide receiver draft prospect as well. What positions do you think the Rams should address in the NFL draft?
