Los Angeles Rams’ Brandin Cooks could be on the move before NFL Draft

Los Angeles Rams’ Brandin Cooks could be on his way out of the city of Angels. Cooks has been a trade target for a good majority of his season as it all started back in 2017. The New England Patriots sent a first and third-round draft pick to the New Orleans Saints in exchange for Cooks. He would only spend one year in Foxboro before leaving the Super Bowl with another concussion. Cooks was once again on the move for the second time in two years as the Los Angeles Rams sent a first-round pick to New England for the veteran wide receiver back in April 2019.

Once again, Brandin Cooks would reach the Super Bowl in his first year with his new team but had a costly drop in the game that could of led to a swing of momentum for Los Angeles. After reaching the Super Bowl, Cooks 2019 season hit a downfall as he had suffered yet another concussion and could never get back to his normal consistent numbers. The Rams are already looking at a potential star in the draft this season and could be the perfect red zone threat for Los Angeles.

That was the biggest drop in receiving yards for Cooks as he began his boom in his second year with New Orleans with 84 receptions, 1,138 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns. Cooks had four straight 1,000 receiving yards before his 2019 season with the Los Angeles Rams. Cooks finished the year with just 42 receptions, 583 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. The Rams already bit the bullet with Todd Gurley and his giant contract as they released him and saw him sign with the Atlanta Falcons. For Cooks, he still has the ability to potentially hit those same numbers again as the Rams could be trading the wide receiver before the start of the draft. He may not come with the same price tag, but Los Angeles might once again bite the bullet and take anywhere between a 3-4th round pick for Cooks.

At the moment, Peter King has stated the Philadelphia Eagles are the best suitors for Cooks as the Rams are still actively seeking a trade. With already a loaded offensive unit with Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp and Tyler Higbee, should the Rams pull the trigger and trade Cooks before the draft? If so, what draft pick value are you looking for?

What they rams gave been doing is complete garbage. I dont think any of then have a clue. They sign gurley to an extension 2 yrs early then eat 20 mil in dead money to get rid of him. They give a 1st for cooks and then try to trade him after giving him big money. They keep paying top dollar to get players and get nothing in return when they dump them. They f’d up both the salary cap and draft capital. They let Littleton go without any effort to resign him. The sign someone to replace brockers but then resign brockers.
