The Los Angeles Rams made the tough decision to release running back veteran Todd Gurley this offseason as it paved the way for second-year back Darrell Henderson Jr to take over the featured back role. Sean McVay recently opened up about the tough decision and his final thoughts about Gurley Monday morning. However, McVay and Les Snead might have other plans in mind. According to USA Today, the Rams intend on creating a talented group of running backs for the year and will feature all of them. Here’s exactly what McVay and Snead told the media on Monday.
“What we want to be is a team that utilizes more than just one workhorse running the ball, have a different genre of skill sets and a complimentary-type running game,” Snead said. “We have this big-picture vision, Darrell (Henderson) being a part of it, but we do expect other pieces to be a big part of it as well.”
At the moment, Henderson will still be the featured back even though he barely played as a rookie. Los Angeles drafted him in the third round last season and will be replacing Gurley. Remember, veteran Malcolm Brown will also get his fair share of handoffs as well. With the news going around that the Rams will utilize more backs in 2020 with Henderson being the main guy, he was dealt with a harsh criticism from a twitter user @jasonkatz13
If there's one thing the Rams definitely don't want to do, it's feature Darrell Henderson. The Rams hate Darrell Henderson. https://t.co/XX4nrHZc9P

Not the best move to announce that to the world, as Henderson found the tweet and instead of firing back at the random user, decided to bring up that he is always be doubted. Take a look at Henderson’s tweet below.
Im use to the doubt! ⏰💢💪🏾 https://t.co/yjBbpBbRbj

Even though Henderson was not used much in his rookie season, Los Angeles will have the perfect plan to showcase why they drafted him in the first place. Do you think the Rams can be successful with Henderson leading the way?
